The limiting factor isn’t the daytime high — it’s the overnight low and the dew point. Once nighttime temperatures start dropping into the 40s and below, and moisture settles on the siding in the evening, we’re past the point where we’re comfortable putting a quality exterior finish on your house.
Some contractors will keep painting into November regardless. We’d rather tell you the truth and put you on the spring schedule than take a job we can’t stand behind.
